VAT Review

VAT Desk conducts a limited review of the economic activities engaged in by your company in that specific country. Such a review of the flow of goods/services and of the flow of invoices enables us to confirm possible VAT obligations including:

• Need for VAT registration
• Filing periodicity of VAT returns (monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, annually)
• Application of local VAT to purchases and/or sales invoices
• Invoicing requirements
• EC sales listing of goods and services, etc.
• Extent of deduction right

Additionally, review can point out optimization schemes.

VAT Registration

VAT Desk tends to all the formalities with local VAT authorities to obtain and activate a VAT registration number within the shortest delays:

Drafting a list of all necessary official documents;
File set up [data collection, information check, translation, drafting appropriate forms, etc.];
Forwarding the appropriate forms to local VAT authorities;
Filing of the request and follow-up of the registration file with local VAT authorities until the effective activation of the VAT number.

VAT Returns

VAT Desk prepares and submits to the local authorities all the VAT documentation needed:

Processing of sales operations : processing of sales invoices and transfer documents and preparation of VAT compliant sales ledgers in view of the preparation of the periodical VAT returns
Processing of purchase operations: processing of purchase invoices and transfer documents and preparation of VAT compliant purchase ledger in view of the preparation of the periodical VAT returns;
Preparation, signing and filing of periodical VAT returns;
Preparation, signing and filing of the yearly VAT return [if any];
Preparation, signing and filing of the periodical EC Sales Listing and of the Intrastat returns [if any].
